Meet Dan
I'm Dan — the TreeNet Man. I design and hand-build TreeNet installations in gardens, schools, nurseries and forest schools right across the UK. Every net is woven on site, shaped around your trees and finished by hand.
Alongside installations I run practical training courses, teaching tree surgeons, outdoor educators and makers how to design and install nets properly and safely.
Three ways to work together — from a single garden net to training your whole team.

View CoursesA TreeNet turns a quiet corner into the best-used part of a space. It sits within the trees rather than fighting them, and it invites everyone in — climbers, dreamers and anyone who fancies lying in a net looking up at the leaves.

No two nets are the same — each one is shaped by the trees and the space it lives in.
Climb, bounce, lie back and watch the canopy. Adults love them just as much as children do.
A net pulls people outside all year round, without screens, batteries or instructions.
Every net is designed from scratch: shape, height, sag and flow, tailored to your trees.
Tree-friendly fixings, careful load spreading and finishes chosen for how your space is used.
From private gardens to schools and forest schools, every installation is designed to create an exciting outdoor experience.

Step 1 of 4
The trees carry the whole net, so the anchor comes first.

Courses & training
My courses are practical, outdoors and deliberately small. You'll learn the design thinking, the rope work and the rigging know-how needed to build a net you'd be happy to put your name to — whether that's for your own site or as a new service.
Tell me about your trees, your space and who will be using it — I'll come back with honest advice and a design idea.
